Daughters of God, Disciples of Christ, Kendra Lowe and Sarah Wolfgramm
Since beginning the violin before her third birthday, and performing with the Utah Symphony at age six, Kendra has lived a life of music.
As a member of the phenomenally talented Lowe Family, Kendra performed six nights a week in Branson, Missouri, writing and arranging music for their show. In addition to the violin, Kendra plays the banjo, piano, organ, and viola. She has performed all over the world, including performances with Wayne Newton, Tony Orlando, Donny Osmond, The Osmond Brothers, Alabama, Carrie Underwood, and more.
In 2006 Kendra completed her music degree at BYU, and was signed to Interscope Records in 2007 by industry icon Jimmy Iovine. Kendra has worked as a musical director and pianist for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Jackson Hole Playhouse, and is currently the Assistant Executive Producer of the Stadium of Fire at BYU. 2009 found Kendra on the road as the pianist and musical director for American Idol star, David Archuleta. Coming home from the road has provided an opportunity for Kendra to pursue her true passion for composing television and film music. She is enjoying every minute of her musical career and hopes to continue influencing those around her for years to come.
She is grateful for God in her life. “The number one priority in my life is living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No other thing in life brings me greater happiness. Truly. Nothing else does.” –Kendra Lowe
Growing up in a musical family, Sarah Wolfgramm developed a love for song writing at a very early age. Along with siblings and cousins she grew up performing and singing for audiences across the country.
At age seventeen while singing in a group with her cousins, she began working with the Wolfgramm family, known in the music industry as The Jets. At age eighteen she married bass player, Haini Wolfgramm, and shortly thereafter was signed to RCA records with her cousins, also known as Blush.
Sarah and Haini are now experiencing the ten treasures that bring a bit of heaven into their lives: Eve, Heinrich, Isabella, Tihane, Abraham, Maikeli, NoraMay, Hazel, Wesley, and Mary. They are happy to be passing the gift of music on to their children who have their own band and are working to carry on in their parent’s footsteps. Their kids have been featured on Nickelodeon’s Yo Gabba Gabba, and have played numerous shows for various audiences. Sarah has recently compiled an album of original works.
She and Haini reside in California where she also runs a successful catering company and creates beautiful wedding cakes. They are busy raising and loving their family, creating music, and living life to the fullest. “It is through living the gospel and following our Savior Jesus Christ that all things are possible. This is where true happiness lies, and it is of Him I testify in all things. May we all find the peace and joy that His message brings.” –Sarah Wolfgramm
